8 blog posts I've enjoyed recently

I've been meaning to write this kind of post for such a long time, but for some reason I haven't got around to it until now. I've had the luck to get mentioned a couple of times in posts like this one, and both times were such happy surprises! I think it's so lovely when bloggers recommend other blogs as it's a wonderful way to spread the love, connect and just make people happy! Plus, it's a perfect opportunity to discover some new blogs, and what day is better for blog reading than a Sunday?

So here are a few of my favourite posts from the last couple of weeks:

Katy's post about The Cake and Bake Show was such a joy to scroll through. I've got a massive sweet tooth and just love food in general, plus I love baking, so it was great to be able to 'visit' the show through Katy's wonderful post. Just look at all those wonderful cakes and pastries! Yum.

Brittany's post on having trouble falling asleep was full of helpful tips. I struggle with not being able to fall asleep quite often, and some of these tips I've tried and can vouch for, while some of them I'm keen to try out. So if you're in the same position, check this brilliant post out!

Annie's article on A Little Opulent about feminism. It explains perfectly why feminism is so important and why it doesn't deserve the bad reputation it sometimes get. Since it's a subject that is close to my heart I was really happy to see this post, and A Little Opulent is an all around excellent online magazine.

Natalie's post about doing things even though you're scared was such an inspiring read. She explains this really great mindset which is about accepting your fears and worries and then just doing things anyway. She explains it much better than me though, so go read!

Jen's list of what not to waste your time on. Basically, this is an incredibly spot-on list of things that life is too short for. Very inspiring!

Rosie's tips on how to tackle those winter blues. I love autumn and winter, but sometimes the dark can be a bit too much even for me. Here are some wonderful suggestions on how to make the most out of the darker time of the year, which made me even more excited for the months to come!

Rachel's photo of some beautiful autumn leaves. I can never stop staring at all the colourful when I'm out and about during this time of the year, and I love how she has managed to capture the changing colours in such a stunning way.

Candy's reflections on the beauty of sunsets is a beautifully written post with gorgeous photos. I had never thought of asking why we find sunsets beautiful before, but I really enjoyed reading Candy's musings on the subject.

I hope any (or all) of these posts spark your interest! What blog posts have you enjoyed recently?
