Sunday was our final day in London. My sister and I said goodbye to our friends in the morning, but our flight wasn't until the evening so we had almost the whole day to explore. To start the day off, I dragged my sister with me to The Mae Deli, which is Deliciously Ella's newly opened place. I've been a fan of Ella's for quite a while now so I was excited to visit the deli. We were there at a sort of awkward time though, between ten and eleven (way too early for lunch!), so we decided to have a morning 'fika'. We had a smoothie each, I had a pecan brownie and my sister had a peanut butter slice. Everything was raw, gluten-free and vegan, and incredibly delicious. What vegan dreams are made of, basically. The place itself was really lovely as well; very home-y and welcoming.

We decided to be very tourist-y on our final day, and wandered through Hyde Park, past Buckingham Palace, to Westminster Abbey, Palace of Westminster, Big Ben and London Eye. After that massive dose of tourist-ness, we took the underground to Leadenhall Market (where they filmed parts of the Diagon Alley scenes), only to discover that it was closed! I thought Sundays were market days, but apparently not... Instead we had lunch at a nearby pub before we took the underground to King's Cross Station. I'm sure you sense a theme here, with the Harry Potter-references... By the side of the Platform 9 3/4 shop was a little memorial space for Alan Rickman, full of flowers and notes, so we just had to leave a bunch of daffodils.

After a coffee at a cafĂ©, we decided it was time to head to the airport. The journey home wasn't very smooth, but let's not get into boring details. Next time I'm going to London I'm definitely taking the train, even if it's more expensive.

I still have a couple of things to share from London, but this is the final full day! I can't believe it's been three weeks already! I'm not generally a fan of big cities, but I do love London, and we had a really amazing time.

Love, Mimmi.
